O’Donovan opens Foynes Search & Rescue Unit

Deputy Patrick O’Donovan has said he was honoured to be asked to open the Foynes Search and Rescue Unit last weekend, which he described as a “vital service that will undoubtedly save lives.”

Speaking at the launch, which attracted over 250 guests on a rare sunny Saturday, Deputy O’Donovan paid tribute to West Limerick Resources and those who had worked to bring the unit to Foynes with extensive fundraising.
